OVERVIEW

For Nadine Shah, we created a shadow-puppetry music video from the ground up.

We were given some initial notes to work from, but from there the project was largely ours to shape — directing, art directing, building the puppets, sets and props, puppeteering, and filming it all ourselves. Shadow puppetry lives or dies on the strength of silhouette and movement, so every puppet and set piece had to be designed with that constraint in mind from the start, not adapted to it after the fact.

It's a good example of what we can do when handed a loose brief and real creative trust: take it and run.
