Lou Beauchard

Lou Beauchard is a visionary director whose distinctive approach was shaped through her deep involvement in Visual and Stop Motion Art.

Collaborating with artists like Okay Kaya, Saya Gray, Yullola and Coldplay, Lou has built a reputation for crafting stories that blur the lines between fantasy, everyday life, and the poetic allure of liminal space. 

Lou has worked on a wide range of projects, including feature films, commercials, music videos, and short films, which have honed her versatility and depth as an artist.

Beyond directing, she is an accomplished Stop Motion Animator and Puppet Maker, crafting characters for her own projects as well as for prestigious brands such as Louis Vuitton and Gucci.

This has allowed her to explore an extensive array of materials: silicone, modelling clay, paper, and more. Giving her a deep knowledge of techniques and textures.

Through a precise, realism-driven approach, Lou uses Stop Motion to transform intimate, in-between moments into cinematic worlds that resonate beyond the screen.
