With a BA in Fine Art from DIT and an MA in Animation from the Royal College of Art, I’ve worked across the UK and China since 2018, contributing to a wide range of productions as a model maker, puppet fabricator, set builder, and set dresser.
In mid-2020, during the pandemic, I founded Scale Model Studios with the aim of creating a fully in-house stop-motion studio, offering an end-to-end pipeline from direction through to final cut. The studio was built around a core crew with years of high-end production experience, allowing for streamlined workflows without compromising craft, detail, or creative ambition.
Since launching in October 2020, Scale Model Studios has delivered over 32 productions, producing models, miniatures, sets, puppets, and complete in-house stop-motion films. We also collaborate with a roster of highly experienced directors who are themselves model makers and animators, ensuring a deep understanding of the medium at every stage of production.
Alongside running the studio, I work as an animation director, having directed projects including work for Call of Duty and Laufey’s Christmas music video, combining a strong visual sensibility with a hands-on understanding of physical production, performance, and storytelling.
