BAZ & LAZ

For "Baz & Laz," we teamed up with Jack Brown, director at Blink, on a comedy piece built around large scale sets, props, miniatures, and set dressing.

As a creative-led rather than client briefed project, this was a chance to lean fully into the comic timing and visual absurdity that stop motion does so well building oversized, hand crafted worlds designed to carry the piece's humour through scale and detail rather than dialogue alone. Every set, prop, and piece of dressing was built and finished by hand, giving the comedy a tactile, physical presence that grounded even its most exaggerated moments.

Working alongside a director like Jack Brown gave us the freedom to push the visual comedy further than a typical commercial brief allows the result is a piece that shows what puppets can do when craft and comic instinct are given room to play off each other.
